We are exciteds to announce that we will be participating in See You At The Pole this year!

“See You At The Pole” is a naationwide event when Christians all around our country gather at their school’s flag pole to pray. This year WCA will be participating too! We are excited to have the opportunity to have the young people lead us in prayer for our nation, our community, and our school! This year the date is Wednesday, September 27th. The 4th-12th graders will be meeting at the pole at 8:20 AM and the K-3rd graders will meet at 10:30 AM.

Personally, I am looking forward to this event. I went to a public school my whole life, and my senior year just my sister and I showed up at the pole to pray. They wouldn’t let us do it in front of the school. It had to be hidden in the back. This is a day that is close to my heart, and I am so blessed to be sharing it with all of you!

This event will replace elementary and junior chapel times. Junior and senior high chapels will remain at their regularly scheduled times in the afternoon. If the weather should hinder us, we’ll meet in the sanctuary.
