Here’s this week’s updates!

1. Operation Christmas Child at WCA

This year we are encouraging the WCA student body to participate in Operation Christmas Child with us! It is a wonderful way to send gifts around the world to children in need, in order for themto hear the Gospel message! CLICK HERE for all of the details!
2. WCA is in need of substitute teachers

WCA is in need of substitute teachers. Anyone with the slightest interest/availability should reach out to Pastor Trigos (cesar.trigos@wcavt.org).
3. Warrior Bakery Open Weekly

Last week we tested out the Warrior Bakery online store for the VERY first time! We know there are bugs, so please be patient! HOWEVER, please let us know when you see them so we can work on them!
That being said, we are going to continue the ordering on a weekly basis. Orders need to come in BY WEDNESDAYS, and they will be sent home at the ned of the day FRIDAYS. Stay tuned on weeks when we are closed Fridays.
HERE IS THE LINK TO THE BAKERY STOREFRONT.
4. Welcome our new(ish) admin team!

We would like to take a moment to introduce you to the new Head of School and Vice Principal! Neither of them are strangers, and we know we are in good hands!
- Head of School: Chris Rossell
- Vice Principal: Cesar Trigos
5. Hot Lunch Menu

We would like to apologize for several inconsistencies listed on October’s hot lunch menu. Somehow several days had a mistake as to what was posted versus what was served. We do want you to know that with our current system, we are making sure all students are fed, even if they were not signed up on a certain day due to a mistake (we do still need you to sign up in advance, we just want you to know that no one goes hungry).
Natasha works hard to provide healthy, delicious meals, including sides and alternatives when possible, and we are working hard to improve the system!
That being said, we have begun posting the menus and order forms for the month of November!

6. Security cameras in the school building

You or your students may be aware that we are in the process of improving our security camera system in the school buildings. Please do not be alarmed. We seek the safety of the WCA student body and are constantly looking for ways of improving it!
They are recording video and audio, and are installed in accordance with Vermont State law.
7. Winter Sports

We are attempting to gather information of the interest of WCA families in winter sports. Our Head of School has written a letter and is looking for your response!
Dear Parents/Guardians/Caregivers,
We are unable to have a basketball, or other winter athletic team through W.C.A. this year, however, we have a Member-To-Member agreement with other schools in the area.
We are trying to determine the interest, and find a school to partner with. We can partner with one school per sport. Once all the information is collected, we will make contact with the school that meets the mean proximity of all interested students, and W.C.A.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Chris Rossell, Ma.Ed. A.B.A.
