Hot Lunch Friendly Reminders

Here are a few reminders concerning hot lunch:

Progress Reports

Progress reports for the third quarter have been sent home with your child/children on Friday, March 4th. This is not the same as a report card but shows an overview of how your students are doing so far this quarter. Remember: You can access your child’s grades online using your Gradelink account!

St. Patrick’s Day Coloring Contest

This St Patty’s day, we are offering a coloring contest for K-3rd grade. Each class will have its own individual competition to see who is the best at coloring the drawing handed out by their teacher within their grade. If they win, they receive a giant box of Limited Edition Lucky Charms cereal! Winners will be announced Thursday morning, March 17th. Stay tuned for the upcoming 4 winners!

Academic Competition

We are pleased to announce the reinstatement of our annual academic competition between Websterville Christian Academy and Trinity Baptist School in Burlington, VT. Pre-Covid, we enjoyed this event each year as the 4th-6th graders competed in several different academic areas including a spelling bee. Prizes, ribbons, and medallions will be awarded to the winners of each category. This event will take place on March 21st. If you are a parent of a 4th-6th grader who would like to participate in this upcoming event, or if you would like to drive and chaperone, please fill out the permission slip sent home with your child. Wish us luck!

School Newspaper

Many of you may have noticed the beginning of a school newspaper. We have printed two issues so far this year. These newspapers come out at the end of each quarter and include many submissions from our students. Categories include poetry, photography, student essays, short stories, devotions, jokes, riddles, and more. Please encourage your child/children to participate and be a part of this new opportunity!

Legacy of Love Banquet

We are excited to announce the Legacy of Love funraising banquet, April 2nd, at 6:00 PM.

“Because of unprecedented growth, our newest expansion includes the purchase of a much larger building to host the growing number of students. Currently, we are in negotiations to purchase the building we are occupying on Vine Street. Because this is a large purchase, we will be hosting an exciting fundraising banquet and event on Saturday, April 2nd at 6:00 at the Barre Elks Club. This will include a delicious full meal, entertainment, prizes and silent auction for all who attend.”

Legacy Dinner Table Sponsors

Will you consider becoming a featured donor of Websterville Christian Academy for our Legacy of Love Banquet? As a show of gratitude, we will display your logo on our many tables, include you in our school newspaper, mention you online on Facebook and our website, and enter you into a raffle for a free scholarship to WCA!

A sponsorship of just 200.00 (the price of one table) can make a huge difference in our ability to raise additional funds for our new school building. We are here to change lives and we ask that you consider being a part of this miracle on Vine Street!

Legacy Dinner Silent Auction

We are looking for donations for our Silent Auction which will take place the night of our Legacy Dinner. If you own a business, can provide a service, are a homemaker, or you have an unopened/unused item of interest that is laying around your house that you’d like to donate, please contact Brandi Peloquin NO LATER THAN Friday, March 25th.
