1. New Teachers this Year

We have several new teachers this year that deserve a good hardy “Websterville Welcome”!

• Jaime Blood – 1st and 2nd grade (letter)

2. Interim Head of School

3. Meet-the-Teacher BBQ

August 27th we are having a meet-the-teacher BBQ so you have a chance to meet teachers, see classrooms, and have a parent orientation. Here are the details.

4. Hot Lunch Ordering

We will be offering hot lunch for $4, five days per week! Here are the instructions and menu.

5. Sonlight Afterschool Program

We will be offering afterschool care again this year. Here are the details.

6. Schedules

Students and parents for grades 6-12 are encouraged to sign in to Gradelink to access their schedules for this coming year. Please bring the printed copy with you on your first day of school!

7. Clubs

This year we are going to start clubs. We will be offering a variety of clubs to choose from for all grades. Clubs will be Wednesdays directly after lunch and a teacher will oversee the activity for that week. This will be on a quarterly rotation so that students may participate in their favorites. Students will have an opportunity to list their top four choices on the first day of school and we will begin the clubs on the second wednesday (September 4th).

8. Textbooks

We are making a strong effort to reuse textbooks in order to reduce book fees in the future. Students will be encouraged to cover books with some protective material such as paper bag, adhesive book covers, etc. This also helps to create good stewardship! Books that are written in such as language and math cannot be reused, but should be cared for in order to make them last the year. Please help us help the students in this!

9. Tunbridge Fair

Save the Date! Tunbridge Fair this year will be Thursday, September 12, 2024. Details will be given to students to take home the first week of school.

10. Fall Athletics Signups

Sign ups for fall sports are still going on.  We are offering cross country and soccer for students in 6th-12th grade.  For soccer this year, shin guards and cleats will be required for all players.  Cross country will be competitive with high school meets on Tuesdays and Saturdays around Vermont and middle school meets mostly on Saturdays with a few Tuesdays.

11. First Day Dress Code

Students are NOT required to dress up for Chapel on the first day of school. However, students must be in dress code starting day one! (See Student/Parent Handbook for details on dress code).
