3. Power Camps run by Faith Community Church!

Power Camps in Northfield are from August 5-9. They are a summer sports camps for students from age 7-12. Here at WCA we are looking for our sports stars to develop their skills, and Faith Community (with the FCA – Fellowship of Christian Athletes) can help! 7. Friday, April 19 is NOT an early dismissal!

Normally, the Friday before a vacation is an early dismissal. However, because of Good Friday, the Solar Eclipse, and Parent Teacher Conferences, we will have a FULL day before Spring break!

8. Kindergarten graduation is right around the corner!

Kindergarten graduation is right around the corner! Our academic calendar had originally placed this graduation at the end of May, however, due to the snow days,Kindergarten graduation is now scheduled for Friday, June 7th at 6:00 P.M.  This will be held in the sanctuary at Websterville Baptist Church, with refreshments in the cafeteria immediately after. This is always a nice time to celebrate our little ones and their big accomplishments! We are looking forward to this and hope to see you there! 

9. We need servers for the Legacy Banquet!

Our Legacy of Light banquet is right around the corner and we are so excited to share this special
evening with so many of you! Currently we are asking for students grade 7-12 to volunteer to serve
tables. This will count toward the mandatory number of community service hours required to
graduate. We expect to have a fun evening, and hope to see as many students in these grades as

10. Book drive

Help us build a library for our students next year by donating gently used books! Please email kelley.ernst@wcavt.org with any questions or donations.

1. Intent to re-enroll for the 2024-2025 school year

students have received an Intent to Re-Enroll form from their homeroom teacher. Please take the time to complete this form and return to school as soon as possible. We ask that all forms be returned by April 12, 2024. This is a non-binding form and is not a part of the official registration for next school year. This information is utilized to assist with planning for the upcoming school year. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Susan Hunt directly. Thank you for your time and attention.

2. FAST application reminder

The FAST financial aid application process is open at this time. The application deadline is 5/30/2024.

3. Sonlight Kids’ Camp 2024 registration is now open!

Sonlight Kids’ Camp is a Christ-centered camp for school-aged children through the 6th grade. Do you want your child to have a summer they’ll never forget? Sign them up TODAY!

4. Little Flock Nursery and Preschool currently has openings in our 3 year old preschool room.

5. Fireside Youth is starting a study in Genesis

The youth ministry at Websterville Baptist Church is called “Fireside Youth. It focuses on junior and senior highers, but sixth graders are invited after Christmas! This year we are beginning a study in the book of Genesis.

6. WCA is kicking off a track and field team!

The WCA Athletics Department is launching a track and field team for students in grades 7-12 this spring. They welcome all students, regardless of prior experience, to join and learn together. Check out the details:

3. Free breakfast for achievement testing week

Achievement testing this year will be May 6th-May 10th. It is important for students to get a good night’s sleep and to have healthy food for meals and snacks. As a way to help support our valued families, we will be offering a FREE breakfast for all students that week. There will be limited items such as biscuits, sausages, and orange juice available. Breakfast will be served for a short time in the cafeteria between 7:20-7:50 so make sure you are here in time to grab some goodies if you are interested!

1. Help WCA through the Hannaford Helps fundraiser!

Hannaford is running a fundraiser through June 1. Participating is simple…

  1. Download the app
  2. Look for the “Hannaford Helps” labels on the shelves while shopping
  3. Check out like normal
  4. Scan the code on the coupon at checkout

2. Save your cans and bottles for WCA!

Help support WCA by saving your cans and bottles and turning them in at Beverage Baron (411 N. Main Street in Barre). Simply tell them it’s for WCA.

3. Legacy Banquet

Friday, May 10th is the new date for the banquet.  Invitations will be mailed or delivered shortly with information about the event and how to RSVP. We hope you will join us! This will be a dinner theater and the students have been working hard at recording some great material for all to enjoy. If you are not able to join us, but still want to donate to Websterville Christian Academy or sponsor a table, you can send your donation to WCA at P.O.
