2. This week is Thanksgiving Break

We are looking forward to break this week! We want to wish you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving season. We will be back in session on Monday, November 27th.

3. First Quarter Honor Roll

We presented Honor Roll certificates to students who have either all A’s or all A’s and B’s on their first quarter report card. This is quite an achievement! The Honor Roll students this quarter include the following students:

6. Thanksgiving Coloring Contest Winners

Our coloring contest was a success with more than 40 submissions! Our winners are as follows:

7. Operation Christmas Child Boxes

This week we packed up the items we have been collecting and were able to supply Websterville Baptist Church with 38 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Thank you to everyone who participated in this meaningful gesture of giving! We would like to especially recognize the 6th grade class for their hard work in supplying and packing 14 boxes!

8. Picture Retake Day for WCA and LFN is November 28

Picture retake day for WCA and LFN is November 28, 2023 and Mrs. Mesh needs to know by email (carolyn.mesh@wcavt.org), by the 26th of November, who would like a picture retake.

9. Interview with Rosie… Peter Carpenter

Our very own Rosie did a long-form interview with Peter Carpenter. Peter is a long time resident of Vermont, and a long time member of Websterville Baptist Church. They discuss Vermont, family, church and US history.

10. YEC (Youth Encountering Christ) Winter Retreat

This year the older grades are going on a winter retreat to the YEC (Youth Encountering Christ) youth conference, and it’s going to be a blast! There will be more details being released soon, but here is what we know. 6th-12th grades can go, it’ll be $275 (covers hotels, food, and the conference), it will be January 26-28, and we’ll be doing some fundraising to help bring the cost down. 11. Pretzel Stick Fundraiser for Winter Retreat

This holiday season we will be selling holiday pretzel rods as a fundraiser to help pay for the winter retreat. More details are coming soon!
