We will be starting our Midland fundraiser soon! This year we will be doing a Cookie Dough and Holiday Wish Fundraiser to raise money for our school. This will be starting on October 23rd and running for two weeks. This year students have the opportunity to earn some neat gifts as rewards for hitting certain benchmarks. This includes free cookie dough, and a 50.00 Amazon gift card to the top 2 sellers! Packets will be going home on Monday, October 23rd, so be on the lookout!

6. Dress code reminders

There has been some confusion and questions regarding what the actual dress code is for our students here at Websterville Christian Academy. In addition to the confusion as to what’s appropriate or not, the most asked question is why? Why do we have to do it?

Here at Websterville Christian Academy we believe that we are Distinctively Different by Design. We believe that we have a purpose in this world and that purpose is given to us by God,  to be an example and a light to a world that needs it.  (Matthew 5:13-16)

The clothes that we wear, and how we present ourselves speak volumes about who we are. I am providing the link to our website and the dress code. Please make sure it is upheld.

Pants: Athletic wear or athletic shorts are not permitted. Sweatpants are not permitted. Yoga pants are not permitted. Spandex is not permitted. Warm up pants are not permitted. All of the above are not permitted even if they “look like” pants.

Pants must have a zipper and button up. Some khaki pants have elastic bands at the waist but they are clearly khakis. These are permitted. Jeans are permitted as long as there are no rips or tears on them.

For Chapel (Dress Up Day), every Wednesday, students and faculty alike are asked to dress appropriately for the day. For the gentlemen, no jeans are permitted, but rather a nice pair of button up pants and a dress shirt would be appropriate. The shirt can be long or short sleeve; also Polo shirts are acceptable.

This letter will also be posted on our weekly newsletter. If you have any questions, please send me an email and I will gladly respond.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation and support.
